Yellow House Story Shoppe was born out of a deep desire for families to build great libraries, great memories, great community, and great lives together in their homes.  We are a family-owned bookshop, and we have always delighted in good stories.  We centered our learning and family life around reading good books and seeing the world together.  We believe God is writing outstanding stories all around us and we aim to live well the one He has written for us.

From the earliest days of our parenting (and homeschooling) adventure, books have been the greatest journey and have opened the doors to so many new worlds. And after years of collecting for our own home library, we felt compelled to share them with others--because we also believe you can “travel” to other times and faraway lands from your own home---through GOOD BOOKS!

We meet heroes, we see lands, we watch good overcome evil, we learn fromm others’ perspectives, and we are challenged to be better people. That is why our little bookshop exists:  to bring these memories and experiences to more families!

We consider this life to be full to the brim with opportunities to learn, love others, and use every bit of the time and talents God has given us to do His work, and we are grateful to do that together, even here through this little bookshop.  Thank you for joining us!  Happy Reading to you and your families.
